About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join our Strategic Sourcing team within Supply Chain Management.
In this role, you will:
- Execute enterprise sourcing strategies and supplier capabilities to achieve line of business or companywide business objectives
- Identify and recommend opportunities for contract negotiations and relationship management with significant and potential business strategy impacts
- Develop and direct processes, strategy and companywide program recommendations
- Determine appropriate strategy to meet deliverables, interpret and develop annual cost saving programs and implement business strategies
- Evaluate, negotiate and manage the most complex and strategically important supplier and vendor relationships
- Collaborate and consult with Head of Technology Strategic Sourcing, peers, colleagues and interact directly with external customers to align priorities and establish tactical and strategic business objectives
- Support Wells Fargo Technology team with all IT Hardware, Telco, Network, and AI purchases.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Sourcing
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Sourcing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 10 + years Fundamental understanding of contract law in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts, with deep knowledge of Technology (IT Hardware, Telco, Network, AI, Cloud, and Datacenter) experience
- Comprehensive sourcing and contract negotiation experience with suppliers in the Technology categories (e.g., IT consulting, software, and hosted technology)
- Ability to project manage deals and drive results, including engaging and working with legal, financial and stakeholders.
- Strong benchmarking and financial analyses capabilities with experience negotiating contracts and sourcing for a large complex organization in a highly regulated environment.
- Proficiency with leading web-based contract management, strategic sourcing (RFx), and reverse auction tools (i.e., Ariba).
- Experience managing third party relationships and conducting business reviews.
- Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring.
- Ability to quickly establish credibility by building and maintaining effective working relationships with high ethics and integrity.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong listening skills to distinguish true client needs and influence sustainable outcomes.
- Strong Excel (emphasis on modeling) and PowerPoint skills (distilling complicated issues for executives)
- Excellent business and financial acumen to apply supply chain and operations for cost optimization.
- Prior Sales and/or Consulting experience is a plus
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Hybrid Schedule – 3 days in the office, 2 remote
