Senior Operations Processor

About this role:

In this role, you will:

• Support Operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and overall effectiveness of team performance
• Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues
• Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support
• Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area
• Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures
• Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests
• Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Interact with internal customers
• Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Process in various payment applications: Global Money Transfer System (GMTS), Money Transfer System (MTS) and Electronic Payment Execution (EPE)

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with using HOGAN, EWS Wire Applications EMTS or GMTS
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
• Understanding of Fedwire, SWIFT and CHIPS(Clearinghouse) systems
• Understanding of payment industry concepts, compliance requirements, and risk controls.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity and operations quality standards

Job Expectations:

• Ability to support End of Day (EOD) task on a rotation basis. The US based wires team has multiple shifts starting at 9:30AM EST - 7:30PM EST covering both the Federal Reserve (Fedwire) and Clearing House Interbank Payment System (CHIPS) hours of operation.  
• Ability to work additional hours as needed to support wire processing for Fedwire Extensions.  
• Ability to work additional hours as needed including weekends to support Operational Readiness Testing. 
• This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
• Candidate must be based out of posted location
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position

Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:30am -7:30pm EST

Training: Monday - Friday 10:30am -7:30pm EST | 3-6 months
