Duties

As a MATERIALS EXAMINER AND IDENTIFIER-Title 32, WG-6912-7, you will identify, examine and classify materiel and equipment and make final determinations on acceptance and disposition of standardized and complex equipment and materiel using shipping documents, contracts, catalogs, drawings, and related documents.

Requirements

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Grades: E-1 through E-6 Conditions of Employment: - National Guard Membership is required. - Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. - Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. - May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
