Position Summary:

This senior individual contributor operates with broad autonomy to manage initiatives of significant scope and complexity for corporate and enterprise engagement and the executive office, the Bank, and the board of directors. Designs and implements high-profile, cross-functional programs, special projects, and events; influences the business and operational strategies of the department; creates talking points for president, first vice president, and board chair and contributes to development and execution of communications plans for a variety of audiences; leverages experience and knowledge to anticipate risks, optimize processes, and deliver high-quality outcomes; ensures compliance with all relevant System and Bank by-laws, policies, and procedures; and engages with senior leaders and other key stakeholders on complex and often confidential matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs, coordinates, and provides support for various projects and initiatives; conducts a broad range of activities and possesses a comprehensive understanding of core business functions within the department; performs analysis of business issues and recommends sustainable strategic solutions; manages dashboards, data analysis, budgets, records, and reporting; ensures compliance with Board and Bank policies pertaining to board of directors’ governance.

  • Produces and presents written reports, talking points, and other documents that summarize content clearly, concisely, and in a tone and format befitting the message, audience, and objective; expresses thoughts and opinions verbally to others in a clear and concise manner; presents or facilitates effectively to various levels of cross-functional team members, management, and senior management.

  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with the ability to forecast future problems and come up with solutions that achieve high-quality results; researches findings through sourcing data and other business information; demonstrated ability to handle ambiguous information and/or assignments that requires individual research and collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Thorough understanding of business processes, technology and applications; researches, identifies, and recommends best practices that drive change initiatives; efficiently and effectively documents existing procedures and creates new processes, as needed; engages with team, all levels of management, and other stakeholders to collect feedback and input to complete work activities.

  • Acts as liaison between department and other business lines; influences stakeholders to obtain consensus on initiatives; represents the department on District and System workgroups.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or four years equivalent experience preferred

Experience: Five or more years preferred

Additional Requirements:  

  • This position will require at minimum fingerprinting for a criminal background check, education and employment verification, along with potential additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of any required background screening. These screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to approximately 8 weeks to be completed. The screening covers areas such as education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reaches out to your references and people that know you well. 

  • For Law Enforcement positions, physical, psychological, drug, stress/EKG, and attending an academy will be required 

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. 

  • Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta employees must comply with the Bank’s ethics rules. These rules generally prohibit employees, their spouses/domestic partners, and minor children from holding financial interests (such as common stock and corporate bonds) issued by financial institutions. This prohibition also applies to investment funds that focus on investing in the financial sector. If you, your spouse/domestic partner, or minor child own such securities, you will generally be asked to divest them if you accept an offer of Bank employment.
