Job Description:
The lifeguards are responsible for ensuring pool patron safety in the water and on the pool deck by practicing preventative lifeguarding during Open Swim hours. Lifeguards are also responsible for maintaining pool cleanliness and chemical levels. Weekends may be required.

Specific Tasks:
- Enforce pool and club rules
- foster positive member relations
- perform emergency procedures
- test and record chemical levels in pool and Jacuzzi
- ensure pool deck and pool equipment is clean and orderly
- Clean pool with manual vacuum
Ā
Minimum Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- capable of sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs and carrying loads up to 50lbs
- ability to pass Aquatics lifeguard training
- Must hold or ability to obtain CPR and AED certification (certifications are provided by The Alaska Club)
