Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM), a global leader in wealth management, provides access to a wide range of products and services to individuals, businesses, and institutions, including brokerage and investment advisory services, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement, and trust. Our MSWM Capital Markets Team provides individuals, corporations, and governments around the world with a wide range of products and services. Our scope extends across multiple asset classes, providing differentiated, commercial content and first-class service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide fixed income market commentary, strategy, and relative-value trade ideas asset classes to MSWM Financial Advisors.

  • Conduct portfolio reviews and recommend reallocation strategies aligned with client objectives and current market conditions.

  • Leverage desk resources, including credit analysis and strategy, to evaluate portfolios.

  • Partner with the Advisory Trading Desk to source products and facilitate fixed income transactions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fixed income sales and trading.

  • Fundamental understanding of global credit and interest rate markets and/or municipals.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify investment opportunities and analyze client portfolios.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex information accurately in a fast-paced environment.

  • Licenses: SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65), or obtained within three months of hire.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $115,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
